Xiang Jing Yu (2021)
Also Known As: 向警予 Сян Цзинъюй
A truly comprehensively story about the life of Xiang Jing Yu, the only female among the pioneers of the Communist Party of China. She was the the first female member of the CCP Central Committee and the first secretary of the Women’s Movement Committee. She was an outstanding leader, a role model and hero.
In 1912, Xiang Jing Yu studied at the First Provincial Women's Normal School of Hunan. After graduation, she returned to her hometown and founded the Xupu Women's School. Shen then travelled to France for a work-study program and formed the "Xiang Cai Alliance" with Cai He Sen who later became her husband.
In 1921, Xiang Jing Yu returned to China and was elected as a member of the Central Committee. In 1925, Xiang Jing Yu led and organized the May Thirtieth Movement. After the failure of the Great Revolution, Xiang Jing Yu insisted on staying in Wuhan. In 1928, she was arrested and executed. She was only 32.
